Problem with endpoint scan not detecting larger files (40MB)

We ran into an issue when running desktop scans where PHI data is being picked up in smaller text files, but not files over 30MB. We did read that the default agent configuration was 30MB so we found the fix, applied it, increased it to 50 MB, and the file is only 41MB. So we thought that would fix it. But the scan is still ignoring the file. Any tips on how we can troubleshoot the issue?
