Creating an Exception on Endpoint for Machine Name

Is it possible to create an exception for specific machine names to allow the transfer of data that is typically blocked by Endpoint Policies?  I have a use case where we want to monitor some machines while blocking all others.  I have searched through the discussions and haven't been able to find this specific use case.
