Interaction with DRM/RMS

Dear Community,

I'm looking for (technical) details for evaluation purposes. I'd like to know how the exchange between DLP and DRM/RMS looks like. It appears that Symantec DLP is supporting Titus file classification in some way. But there are no technical details published, just a few threads[1] and a simple FAQ entry[2].

My specific questions are:

• What kind of classification does Titus provide (how does it look like, where is it stored)?
• How does Symantec DLP access this data? Is it Titus-specific (proprietary) or may it be provided/used by any other DRM/RMS solution?
• How can Symantec DLP interact with it? Is it just reactions or can it rewrite the stored data?
